Entrepreneur and speaker Michelle Mone has received her OBE from the Palace for Services to Business, in recognition of her phenomenal success with the luxury lingerie brand Ultimo. The Glasgow born business woman, who harbours hopes of designing Kate Middleton’s wedding gown, collected her honour in suitably chic attire; a corset from her own range of clothing. As if that weren’t exciting enough, mere days after collecting the coveted medal, Michelle’s twitter page was flooded with her panicked messages reporting that the medal, along with a case-full of her belongings, had been accidentally left in a taxi. Thankfully, she was swiftly reunited with the medal, as the bag was handed in. She is still trying to track down the taxi driver to reward him!
